Baokalo was formed in the 90's,
But back in the days, the name was introduced as "Bulhaa City". Hereafter, a group of friends re-branded the name to 'baokalo' and it was officially registered as a brand name on the 7th of July 2013. And afterwards, as a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) on 7th December 2016.
Baokalo was formed by a group of youngsters, performing our Maldivian culture that has been going on through many generations.
We share the love for our tradition, and we love to represent the valuable traditions of our home among all our people.
And now, we are moving forward with sports events, social gatherings and different environmental projects which will be contributing among the country and our community.

TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT FOR THE SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATION OF UNDERPRIVILEGED INDIVIDUALS, GROUPS AND COMMUNITIES IN N.VELIDHOO AND TO ENCOURAGE AND POPULARIZE VOLUNTARY WORK.
